SCOPE — Sumago Center Of Practical Excellence

Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have — in plain language.

Last updated: 14 September 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains, in plain language, what information SCOPE collects, why we collect it, how we look after it, and the choices you have. SCOPE (Sumago Center Of Practical Excellence) is a brand of Sumago Infotech Pvt. Ltd. — and wherever this policy says “we” or “us”, that is who we mean.

1. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to help you. That usually means:

  • Details you give us — your name, email, phone number and anything you choose to share when you enquire, book a demo, enrol or contact us.
  • Basic usage information — such as the pages you visit and how you found us, gathered through standard website tools so we can keep improving.

We do not ask for sensitive information that we do not need.

2. How we use your information

We use your details to:

  • reply to your enquiry and share relevant program information;
  • deliver the services you signed up for, and support you through your program;
  • keep you updated about things you have asked to hear about; and
  • understand what is useful on our site so we can make it better.

In short, we only use your information for the purposes you would reasonably expect.

3. Cookies and website analytics

Like most websites, we use basic cookies and analytics to see what is useful and to keep the site running smoothly. These help us understand visits and trends — they are not used to identify you personally by name.

You are in control: you can clear or block cookies at any time through your browser settings. A few parts of the site may work a little less smoothly if you turn them off.

4. When we share information

We do not sell your data — full stop. We share it only when it is needed to serve you, or when the law requires it. For example:

  • with trusted service providers who help us run our operations, and who are bound to protect your data;
  • with hiring or placement partners, where you have asked us to support your placement; and
  • with authorities, if we are legally required to do so.

That is the full list. Your information is never shared for anyone else to market to you.

5. Keeping your information safe

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No system anywhere is ever perfectly secure, but we take this seriously and keep strengthening how we work.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we genuinely need it — to serve you, to meet legal or accounting requirements, or to resolve any issue. When it is no longer needed, we remove it or make it anonymous.

7. Your choices and rights

You are in control of your information. You can ask us to:

  • tell you what information we hold about you;
  • correct or update anything that is wrong;
  • delete it, where we are not required by law to keep it; and
  • stop sending you updates — you can opt out at any time.

Just email us and we will help — there is no charge for a reasonable request.

8. Children and students

Some of our programs involve students. Where a learner is a minor, we expect enrolment and consent to be handled by a parent, guardian or the learner's institution. We do not knowingly collect information from children beyond what is needed to deliver their program.

9. Links to other sites

Our site links to others — such as accrediting bodies or partners. Their privacy practices are their own, and we would encourage you to read their policies when you visit them.

10. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be here, with the “last updated” date shown above.

11. Contact and concerns

Questions, requests or concerns about your privacy? Please reach out — email info@sumagoinfotech.com or call +91 85303 88815. We will respond promptly and do our best to make things right.
